Didn’t have work today after all.
Yup. I called EB today about Mario Kart, and they didn’t get it in yet, but James told me they cut back our hours by eight hours, so he had to chop up some of my days.
Yes, unfortunately for me that means I’m only working Monday and Friday. The good news? James called me back a bit later and told me that he was going to modify my friday schedual. Instead of being 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, he bumped it up to 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM. I guess with the bad, comes the good when you’ve got a job that actually likes your work skills.
As for the rest of the day. Dad and I took lunch together. I think dad took me to lunch because of the fact that I was so nicely dressed for work, but he was also in a good mood. We went out to TGI Fridays, we thought about Panera Bread but it was packed. Dad got a hamburger (for a guy whos trying to lose weight, I’m not sure why my Dad got a salad), and I got a low-fat Santa Fe Salad with a little cup of Ranch dressing on the side.
After that Dad kindly pulled up to Game Crazy (where I had something like $95.96 in in store credit because I sold them my X-Box, I now have something like $42.96), and I picked up Mario Kart for my DS. They didn’t have Tony Hawk: American Wasteland yet, but they’ll probably get it soon. I have Mario Kart paid off at EB (the one I work for), but my store, for some mysterious reason or another, hasn’t gotten the shipment in. What does this mean? It means come this Friday when I work, I’m going to transfer the cash I have on Mario Kart: DS, to something else.
I’ve been playing Mario Kart:DS pretty much all day. If I haven’t been doing that, I’ve been talking to Jessica. The only time I didn’t talk to Jessica today was when I took a nap when she went to her class.
Pretty slow day, but Mario Kart: DS kept me busy through most of it.
