Woohoo! Thank you Indiana!

I don’t usually bring politico into my blog, unless its the politico of my work/job so you’ll have to excuse this for a moment.

Last night, Indiana voted in their primary (so did North Carolina, but seeing as I don’t come from there, that’ll be what I mention next)..

The results were to say the least, staggering.

Clinton got 51 % of the popular vote and Obama got 49%.

Now, I haven’t said who I’m voting for at all in my blog to my past recollection, however, I will admit here and now..

I voted early in this primary, and I voted Obama.

I’ve been one who’s always endorsed change, and I feel Obama can bring it to this nation, especially after the eight years that we’ve had to deal with before this new 2008 election. I also, think that a black man, who has the sense of grandure about him that JFK had, getting into office would say a lot about how racism can be called into question now days. I’m not racist, I never have, but this would be a kick in the nuts to anyone who is. Martin Luther King had a dream, and that dream may come true on January 20th 2009. I hope it does.

Even my home county of Saint Joseph county, voted for Obama.

This surprised, and shocked but not to mention pleased me greatly as to what county I thought would vote for Hilary. Seeing my own county vote for the man that I want to see as the 44nd president of the United States.

As far as North Carolina went, they projected and predicted a win for Obama.. and as usual, they were spot on the money.

With 99% of precincts reporting in, Obama swept through NC with 56% of the popular vote as opposed to 42% for Clinton.

Apparently Hilary’s been canceling all of her morning shows and etc. No one knows why, but they are saying that the fat lady is finishing up her warm up and getting ready for the full blown opera.

Anyway,

Thank you to Indiana.. you made me proud to be a Hoosier last night.
