Barker’s Barkings.

Wow… it’s .. really quiet here.

If you haven’t guessed already, I’m in my new house.

I packed up almost 100% of the remaining stuff today, and moved it over to my house.

All that really remains is two boxes, a desk, and my bed.

That’s right.. the cats are over here too.

Shadow didn’t take the trip very well.. (he howled almost non-stop.. the poor little guy), Tigger on the other hand was quiet the whole way except for one little tiny meow.

I had a bit of difficulty getting the modem set up but thats only because the technition gave me the wrong DNS number (he wrote a .2 when it should of been a .7 ..either that or his sevens are really freaking ugly).. but after calling Choice One and correcting that small little DNS issue, my modem blipped on and everything worked a-okay.

Next up: The inflatable bed. I need a place to sleep tonight, so I need to inflate my bed. I know I shouldn’t be but I’m really nervous sleeping here for the first time.. partly because it’s so quiet and I’m not used to it. I’m used to trains rolling by every 30 minutes to an hour, but, that hasn’t happened and it’s set my nerves going “Where’s the subtle rumbling… where is it?!?!”, ah well. I’ll get used to it.

Anyway, I have a lot of stuff I need to get done so I can actually make this house livable tomorrow, if anything I might take a break, play some TF2 then work on those in a half hour or so.

Just thought everyone might like to hear the news.. I’m actually home now.

Happy turkey day everyone (in the States)!

Not much is going on today with me.. we cooked last night for today’s feast.. so cooking will be “easy”..

I also picked up two beers last night the one to write home about is this one:

It’s from the local brewery around town, and it’s a special brew, as you can see. It’s a Pumpkin ale. While that may sound really gross, the flavor is absolutely astounding.

I’m a little upset due to the fact that I got the two beers last night to go and the bartender complained when I didn’t tip her, even though she spent like five to ten minutes getting the ales (serving people who were at the restraunt before me), but I didn’t think it was necessary to tip her for just grabbing two beers especially when I told her I was in a rush.

Anyway, not much else has gone on in my life. I got a new cell phone:

Probably the nicest cell phone I’ve had yet, and to be honest, after this one I’m not sure I could be swayed to go with another one. This one is smaller and has just a few more features, I love it more than my old LG CU400.

As for what else is going on, I’m still working on getting everything sorted at my new house, and hopefully, I’ll be moved in before Christmas.

We’ll see how that works out.

Anyway, I’m going to call my mother and find out if she’s ready for me to come over and help out finishing up cooking things for turkey day.
