Allow me to say that again, how do you pronounce S’nc’r'ty ?

Did you guess “sincerity”?

Well if you did, good for you, you did better than I did pronouncing a customer’s name today.

That’s about all that happened today that was remotely eventful other than getting an email back from my father telling me that he and my brother and mom were having a decent, albeit slow vacation in Mexico.

Other than that I pretty much took employment quizes to make my profile at Radioshack complete looking, but I ran into a little bit of difficulty that one of the tests said I’d completed it but it didn’t complete on the actual RS website. Very odd, and I left a note for my manager to ask him why it did it, and I assume he’ll talk to me about it tomorrow. The only other thing I really did today was sit back, ring up maybe 25 to 30 tickets, and watch HBO and the History channel all day. 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM with one Jambalaya (from Popeye’s) lunch in the middle of the day.

Pretty uninteresting day.

Allow me to explain.

I’m at my parents house listening to my parents discuss their plans for Mexico. They leave tomorrow at 8:00 AM. It’s going to be really weird because as much as I want to go, I don’t. I went with them last time they went in December, and I’ve got a work commitment, but I do want them to have a good time by themselves.

Anyway, tonight, I have some incredibly awesome news.

First and foremost:

My cellular phone is now a contract based phone.

I get 450 minutes a month and 5,000 nights and weekends per month. I don’t get text messaging or anything, but I do get to use my phone pretty much any time I need to now. No more stupid “pay as you go”, which was already costing me 45 dollars or so a month. ( I get more of a deal with a contract than I do with a pay as you go ).. I finally convinced my father to allow me to get a contract based deal with my phone.

The second awesome news is this:

I was looking at this hat for a while on Amazon.com because I’m getting tired of my crappy little Hot Topics bought one, and unfortunately for me, I don’t have very much money until this coming Thursday. I was talking to one of my DeviantArt friends, and they agreed that if I got them a subscription for three months ( $7.95 ), they’d get me the hat. Pretty cool deal seeing as the hat was that about that much.

I’m pretty excited by the aspect that I’ll have a hat that I can wear year round now instead of just wearing my 1Up Baseball cap, and the crappy little Hot Topics beret that I have. I’ll probably get a new picture of myself when the hat arrives.

As for what else is going on, as I said, tomorrow, mom and dad are leaving to Cancun, and that means I’m going to be left fending for myself for a week. Mom’s going for two weeks, dad is only leaving for one because he can’t afford to miss that many patients at his work.

I don’t work this Saturday or Sunday so I probably won’t have much to write about on those two days (other than the joys that I go through returning the 360 games I rented from Blockbuster, and those go back on Saturday).

Sunday all my plans are to do is watch Discovery channel’s ‘Planet Earth’.

So unfortuantely I’m not going to have much going on.

Dad needs to take me home now so I think I’m going to close this off.
