This day went all wrong.

Current mood: Annoyed. Annoyed.

Why? Well.. where do I start?

As of today, I’ve decided I really need a car…

Why?

Because when I’m on the bus listening to my music at full volume, I can still hear parents and other people, but parents in particular yelling at their little brats as clear as day. Something needs to be done about the volume level of the people on the damn bus, I nearly blew my ear drums out today while on the bus.

This isn’t my only problem with the bus.

When the bus gets filled up with people and there are no seats left.. someone decides to use the already semi-claustrophobic me as a seat. Yes, you read right. I become a bus seat. This effectively scares the ever living piss out of me because I’m too busy zoning out with my music trying to ignore the other patrons of the bus. Parents never put their kids on their lap to make room for the other passengers who are boarding, so little old me, with my Sony Clie PDA and expensive mp3 player in his pockets becomes the most likely to become a bus seat, thus upping the chance of the aforementioned electronics breaking. They always try to sit on me too.. I mean WTF?! do I blend in with the bus seats or look like a bus seat?!? Jebus..

That’s not all that went wrong with my day.

My iRiver mp3 player is/has been acting up lately and right now it won’t add music to it after a certian point on the hard disc. The problem? It’s still got 13.46 GIG free to add more music.

I’m wondering if one of the times some idiot sat on me, it broke. I have no idea what else could of caused it to do this, but yeah, I’m on the verge of tears about my 20 gig iRiver’s now defunct status.

I emailed tech support about it, but they haven’t gotten back to me, and I’m not sure when they will. I’m extremely worried that I may have to send my player back to them, because I can’t live a day without my music in my ears. Especially on the previously mentioned bus of psychoticdom. (Psychoticdom? Did I just invent a word ?)

On top of all that I found out the number I had for Kurt was wrong in my phones auto-dial, so I had to fix that when I got home, which leads back to why I couldn’t reach him for the past week.. stupid phone, and then I found out that he can’t do anything next week.. when I have almost the entire frigging week off.

Oh and my parents left for Cancun for ten days tonight, leaving me stranded in Indiana with no one to chill out with or do anything with for the (almost)-entire week I have off. :(

Not a good day… Not a good day at all.

Interesting schedule next week.

Current mood: Relaxed. Relaxed.

As for my schedule next week this is it:

Tuesday 10-10 = 5:00-9:30 PM.

Saturday 10-14 = 12:30-9:30 PM.

19.5 hours in two days.

Anyways, not much is going on lately, I haven’t gotten a-hold of my friend (Kurt) since last week. I call his number and he/his mother, never answer. I’m wondering if something is going on with their phone. God knows.

I’m sort of hoping he’ll read my Blog sometime this coming week so he can see that I’m free and we can get together and do something.

As for other things going on, one of the churches I used to goto burned down a few days ago. They’re saying that it was “An act of God” because the only thing that remained in the sanctuary after it burned down was a picture of Jesus.

Now I may mention this kind of thing makes me queezy and ill. Why? Because I believe in a completely different form of Christianity.

Christian existentialism is a school of thought often traced back to the work of Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard (1813-1855.)

This is what he believed (and I tend to as well, because it makes the most sense to me.):

Each person has to individually make the choices that make up his or her existence. No imposed structures—even Biblical commandments—can alter the responsibility of individuals to seek to please God in whatever personal and paradoxical way God chose to be pleased. Each individual suffers the anguish of indecision until he or she makes the “leap of faith” and commits to a particular choice. Each person is faced with the responsibility of his or her own free will and with the fact that a choice, even a wrong choice, must be made in order to truly live.

Now, after that it gets a bit screwy:

Kierkegaard also upheld the idea that every human being exists on one of three spheres (or planes) of existence, the aesthetic, ethic, and religious. Most people, he observed, live an aesthetic life where nothing matters but appearances, pleasures, and happiness. It is in accordance with the desires of this sphere that people follow social conventions. Kierkegaard also considered the violation of social conventions for personal reasons (e.g., in the pursuit of fame, reputation for rebelliousness) to be a personal aesthetic choice. A much smaller group are those people who live in the ethical sphere, who do their best to do the right thing and see past the shallow pleasantries and ideas of society. The third and highest sphere is the faith sphere. To be in the faith sphere, Kierkegaard says that one must give the entirety of oneself to God.

I like the idea of the three planes, but it’s a bit strange as to why I can’t explain why I like the idea behind them.

Back to the subject at hand; Saying that the only thing that remained in a church after a fire (caused by lightining) was a photo of Jesus is a miracle is just stupid, and a bit strange. As my father put it, if our house burned to the ground and the only thing remaining was a photo of Jesus, THAT would be a miracle.. (note: We don’t have any pictures of Jesus in my parents house.)

I hope I don’t come across as rude with this, but it does need to be discussed. :/

As for otehr eventful happenings, as of two sundays from now, James is moving to another store for six months because they’re doing a “managerial shift” for the Winter season to see whats going on and see if Managers are where they should be or not. Now he also said Frank would be leaving our store, but I seriously hope he doesn’t.. if Frank leaves our store, the whole thing will spontaneously combust into a ball of flame and chaos. Frank is the glue that holds our itty bitty store together. Now, I’ll admit, saying that is a bit strange because Frank isn’t as sane as the rest of us, but he definately does know his job, and he does it. He does it damn well too.

Speaking of Frank, my insomniatic butt works with him today 1:30-5:30, after that I get home and start to clean my house or play World of Warcraft.

Speaking of World of Warcraft, South Park recently had an episode that was hilarious about WoW. Everyone needs to watch it.

The first part link, from here you can find the other two parts.

Other than that, I can’t say I’ve been doing much except for watching a live webcam of Africa. You can find the link to that here.

I’ve also been watching a whole bunch of Food Network and Alton Brown’s Good Eats.

I hope everyone has a good weekend. :)
