Removed a feature, and added one.

Current mood: Indescribable Indescribable.

Two days ago I pre-ordered my Nintendo Wii (I was fourth in the line for it.. (I put down $100) I got there at 9:10 AM becuse Kurt took me, as a return I bought Kurt lunch at Chipotle), and James asked me to put down 50$ for his, I did, but after thinking about it for about an hour, I decided to cancel it.

Of course James was quite upset, but the way I looked at it was this: Last time I lent money to someone I thought was a friend I never saw him again. I admit that I know James’ number, and I sort of know where he lives, but the fact I wasn’t going to see him again after yesterdays nine and a half hour shift, for six months, I came to the quick realization that I may never see the fifty dollars again.

However, about yesterday, James basically ditched me last night, leaving me to find a ride home with a security guard. As for why it was because he got so upset about my not putting money down on the Wii for him. I can’t report it because he doesn’t have an obligation to take me home. I however, have an inkling that the only reason he didn’t take me home was because “my loyalties lie else where,” (as he kept saying) and when I was calling around to Joe, Allie, and other various friends, he and his friend who owns plate talk were smirking and I could over hear him saying a few things about me.

I frankly don’t care. I had a rather nice talk on the way home. It was also quite nice not to listen to the same rap music over and over again, for a change of pace.

As for good news, as you can see, we’ve got a new feature up on the Blog, which might get more use than the webcam did. I’m going to go as far as saying the webcam was a failed experiment on my part. :(

Oh well.

The reason why I added the calendar was because I’ve had lots of requests for my work schedule from people I know personally.

The easiest way I know about going to do this is to use a new function Google Calendar is using, which allows you to put a calendar on pretty much any website. Here’s how it works. I head to my Google Calendar, which you can sign up for here, and fill in the day and times of which I’ll be at work, then the calendar keeps track of those, but will also output the information on the calendar over to the left, therefore making it possible just for me to update one page, instead of updating the sidebar every week.

To check my hours on a desired day, all you have to do is click the time I start work on the desired day, and it’ll pop up a new window with my schedule for the whole day.

It’s quite spiffy. It should also come in handy (at least, moreso than the webcam did!).

As for what else is new, I created a new character in WoW after quickly coming to the realization that Dwarf Rogues racial attributes are close to horrible for end game purposes. I’m now a Human Rogue, on the same server (Lightning Hoof) under my usual screenname, Xehirut. I’m quite happy with the character because he gets a damage boost with swords (which I use), and a Detect Hidden racial as well. It’s quite awesome.

Other than that, not much is going on.

Andy the calender doesn’t seem to be working for me (don’t have the ability to click on the starting times.

P.s. Sorry about having to bum a ride, but I couldn’t get away from work. Good to hear it worked out ok in end though.
