2 pounds of jelly beans and 35 hours of work….

Current mood: Great Feeling great.

Two pounds of Jelly Beans and thirty five hours of work… strange blog entry title eh?

Allow me to explain.

Just recently I found out I get a 30% discount at the South Bend Chocolate Factory. I splurged on two pounds of Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. How much did I splurge? $9. It was a steal. The jelly beans are awesome.

As for the 35 hours work?

I worked 1:30 to 5:30 on 09/04, 6:00-9:00ish on 09/05/06, on 09/08 I worked 1:30-5:30, and on 09/09 I worked 1:30-5:30.

That’s last week.

This coming week I work:

Date: 09/12 Time: 6:00-9:00ish.
Date: 09/14 (The day we find out everything about Nintendo’s new console) Time: 1:30-5:30.
Date: 09/15 Time: 1:30-9:00ish.
Date: 09/16 Time: 1:00-5:00 at UP Mall, and 5:30-9:00 or 9:30 at Erskin Plaza’s EB.
(If you can add up the hours and let me know how many that is.. I’d love to know.)

Yup .. for those who are continuing to read, I’ve got awesome news.

Someone couldn’t cover the 5:00-9:00 shift at EB in Erskin (another store in South Bend), and because everyones working at our store that day anyway, and I get off at 5:00 (I was supposed to get off at 5:30, but a co-worker is coming in to cover the extra thirty minutes), I’m going into the Erskin store because I offered to and they accepted the help, not to mention I’m trusted enough to do that. I traded 30 minutes for an additional four hours on my paycheck. Not a bad trade. :D I’m extremely excited about it.

Anyways, other than that, I just recently sold my Nintendo DS Phat, in favor of getting a Nintendo DS Lite Onyx color. It’ll look like this when it it comes in on the 13th:

DS Lite Onyx

It’s 30% smaller, and 20% brighter than the original DS, and they look extremely sexy.

I am highly anticipatory about the 14th, because we find out everything about the Nintendo Wii.. my next home console system. :)

All and all.. a fantastic week last week, and a fantastic week coming up. I’m extremely happy, and extremely pleased to see where things are headed for me.
