If you’ve been reading my blog lately, you know that I’ve been trying to find a new ’spinner’ ring to replace my old one. Well, not really replace, but to give me a new sense of style. I guess you could say I got tired of wearing the same one for seven years. I still can’t believe I’ve had the same ring for seven years. I finally broke down and went over to the local jeweler and got my current ring sized.. found out I wear a size 10 (man, my fingers are fat) and went home that night and started looking for a new ring.

Anyways, last night after Googling for “Men’s Spinner Rings size 10,” I found this one:

Now I’m not going to admit I bought it, but I liked it a lot. But after talking to one of my friends, they told me the Roman Numerals (dispite going up to 12, like a clock), wouldn’t be very good, or go with very much.. stylistically. Made sense to me so I didn’t buy it. I googled a little bit more and I found a website called DragonWeave. Ok, doesn’t sound like very much but hey, I thought I’d check it out.

DragonWeave is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the site was extremely easy to navigate. After heading to Men’s Rings I found a Spinner ring section, and lo-and-behold this stood out from the rest (partly because it was in my size):

I discussed it with a few of my friends online and they all agreed that it was quite nice and not nearly as complex as the Roman Numeral one, so after thinking about it for thirty minutes, I decided to use some of my pay check on it. Needless to say it’ll be here in five days.

I’m extremely excited to have a new ring on the way.

As for what else is happening.

Absolutely nothing. I have work tonight. 5:00-9:30 PM, and I’m off tomorrow, but then I have work on Thursday and Friday.. so I’ve got a really weird week of work.

I’ve added something else to the page.

Something I’ve wanted this site to have for quite a while, what is it you ask? Well, as you read this, it should be loading on the left side of the page.

It’s a 100% live view of my house.

Yup. Nothing faking around here, we’ve got a live cam feed now.

Now, I’m not going to say this is going to be online 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, but I’m going to leave it up as frequently as I can. I may even leave little notes on my chair that say what I’m doing… for example “WORK” or “SLEEP” et cetra. It’ll also go off when I’ve got company over that doesn’t want to be seen on my cam, but other than that, it should remain up, open and accessable to the general public.

I’ve also taken the liberty to move the Readers of Random Ramblings Map up and the Weather down a notch to make room for the new Cam and Chat.
