Another eventful day. *Sarcasm.*

Current mood: Groggy. Groggy.

Today was supremely eventful.

I slept until 2:34 PM, woke up and played World of Warcraft until about 7:45 PM. After that my dad called at 8:00 and took me to Fazoli’s for dinner. I had a wheat club submarino. After that we went over to Meijer and filled four jugs of water for his aquarium. During the visit to Meijer, I got new shoes, a bunch of new socks, and shampoo. My new shoes aren’t anything like my old ones. I finally got a pair of Converse shoes (after a few months of wanting a pair). They look just like this:

I quite like them. I think they’ll be acceptable for work too because they’re 100% black. :)

In other news I’ve found a new place in town that I really like hanging out, it’s called Wine Down, and they serve some of the best beer’s I’ve ever tasted.. and some of the rarest as well.

One of these beers, is called Samichlaus (pronounced Sammy-Claws), and it comes from Austria. It’s an eight dollar bottle of beer. Why is it eight dollars a bottle? Because the beer is only brewed once a year, on December 6th (which is the day of St. Nicholas), which makes it a relatively rare drink. Not to mention it has a 14% ABV. It’s extremely tasty, but it hits you like a sack of bricks. (Trust me. I had one. They’re insane.) However, thats not the reason I’m writing about the beers in this blog.

I’ve always been incredibly fond of Scottish Ale and Irish Ales, but when I mentioned I liked Killian’s Irish Red (which by the way is manufactured in Colorado by Coors, lol), they brought me a real Scottish ale. It’s called Belhaven Scottish Ale. The bottle looks like this:

Now the amazing thing about this beer isn’t only the taste (it’s like drinking pure silk), but the price. It’s $4.50 a bottle. Yeah. Four fifty a bottle. It’s as cheap as a Budwiser, but it tastes oh so much better. So much better (I hate Budwiser, I can’t even sip it), that every time I go into Wine Down, from this point on, I’m going to probably order one. It’s that awesome. :)

Other than that, not much has been going on (other than Korine, the girl I was with ending things, but I don’t want to dwell on that so you won’t hear anything about it) which is why I haven’t updated at all lately.

As for people wondering why my cam hasn’t been online: I haven’t been home much. My cam is usually on when I’m on, and not playing World of Warcraft (it generates too much lag when I’m playing so I leave it off.).. I however have it on when I know I’ll be doing nothing for a while and be near my computer. I thought everyone might like an explanation.

Glad to be updating again.
