It’s just one of those days…

Current mood: Melancholy Melancholy.

Blech.

It’s just been one of those days when everything compounds down and makes one break down.

I’m exhausted, I feel like I want to curl up and sleep until Alyssa gets home from work, and then we can talk.. if she gets online or tells me to call her. Alyssa is the new girl I’m talking to whom I’ve had an absolutely flabbergastingly stunning connection with. We’ve decided that we’re going to be ’sort of together’ until she comes down here, and then we’re going to make it official by going out on our first date. I won’t say much more than that but she’s something else in terms of a woman that I’ve got connections with. I talked to her on Skype for 3 hours and 12 minutes last night. If it wasn’t for Skype, the phone bill would of been horrendous.

Anyways, as for what is troubling me. I don’t know how to put it into words, but I’ll try my best.

Work is having some… issues. I’m an associate, I have been for seven months. Don’t get me wrong, this is a job I’d like to keep but when the manager (the lead manager) doesn’t even do his job right, how can I be expected to perform to my highest level? What I mean by this is that James (my manager) is never supposed to leave me in the store alone, yet time after time he leaves me alone for reasons I have no (pardon my language) fucking idea why. Yeah, he’s entitled to breaks now and again, but when he’s gone for two hours at a time for his supposed ‘breaks’? I can’t function all by myself. It’s also going against store policy. Because of this, after I finish writing this blog I’m going to be writing my District Manager and asking him what I should do about it. This was a recommendation from my friend (and assistant manager) Frank. We both know that I’ve been spotted in the store alone before, and I shouldn’t be ditched. This isn’t the only trouble I’m having. I’m also having problems that James is hiring someone new in and he says my hours are going to drop because of it. He claims, “It’s for training purposes.” I call sheer bullshit. He’s a friend of a friends who James goes over to and talks all the damn time at his store and they just want to shoot the shit back and forth all damn day long. It’s a problem, and I’m not even sure how to mention it to my District Manager. Hopefully Jon (my DM) will stop in unannounced and suprise us one day.. when James is out mucking and (again pardon my language) fucking around with his friends.. I swear to that he spends more time over at his friends store than our actual store. It drives me nuts. We’re supposed to have a manager in store at all times, but 90% of the time when it’s James and I, its just me in the store. I’m left alone, and it’s not very fun.

That’s not all that’s troubling me. It’s the fact that the watch I’ve had for so very long broke today, so I’m shit out of luck on the analogue setting face, and when I asked them how long it’d take to fix, they said 4-8 weeks and it’d cost 20 bucks. I mean what the hell!?! Last time I had a watch fixed by them, they never ever frigging called back and told me it was fixed. I’ve picked out a new watch, in the mean time but I have to wait until the next pay check to get it. Which sucks, but hey, I think they’ll hold it that long, if not, I’ll just order a new watch online.

I was also looking at some new rings to wear on my right hand because I’m sort of getting tired of the same ring on my hand at all times.. Here’s what I’ve picked out to choose from:

Ring. PoM.

Phases of the Moon.

Ring. Snake Skin.

“Snake skin.”

Ring. Dotted.

“Dotted.”

I also kind of liked this one:

Ring. Shamrock.

But I think it’s a bit too Irish, but I’m proud of my Irish/Scottish heritage, so it’s kind of nice. I’m just worried my friends will consider it too leprechaun-y for me. Who knows. They’re all spinner rings, like my current one. I quite like that feature, so I plan to keep that style.

I’m not sure what else I can write about, but I’ll update more later, if I feel like writing more.

Mkay, so here’s tonights updated blog.

Current mood: Full. Full.

Alrighty, so I’m home from dinner.

Dinner was fantastic. Mom made Pork Chops with Corn and Steamed Veggies.

It was scrumptious.

As for things that happened as of lately, Kurt and I (as you can probably read from his comment on the blog below this one) saw Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. (We got in at 10:30, and the movie started at 11:00:15.. we got out at 2:10:00 AM… it’s that long.. but it’s awesome.)

It was utterly amazing. I’m going to try to see it again, maybe one of the ladies I’m talking to, will join me on a real date to it. Who knows.

As for other things going on, my schedual is , well.. how do you say this, screwed up this week.

Sunday (yesterday) 12:30-6:30 PM, 2-8:00 PM Tuesday, 5-9:30 PM Friday, and Saturday I work 12-5:00 PM.

It bounces around all over the place, but at least I’ve got a bunch of hours, so I’m happy.

As for other happenings.. I’m thinking about trading in my DS and my Gamecube for store credit, but I think I might trade them in toward a DS Lite. I’m not sure yet though.

I’ve stopped playing World of Warcraft, but for a temporary time because I’m getting back into City of Villains. I’m really enjoying my Fire/Kinetics corruptor. He’s insanely powerful. :) I’ll get back into WoW soon, but I just needed a breather for a while.

Anyways, everyone have a great night.
