Barker’s Barkings.

I worked yesterday, until 1:00.

It was an interesting day, work at BK seems to be fun right now. I’m wondering if it’s because I’ve got a different manager or because of the fact tht I know that if EB Games hires me, I’m going to be quitting. I’m not too sure.

After work, I came home and napped until 3:00, and then Kurt came over and we went over to his house and installed an awning for his mother. His mother then made dinner, turkey with stuffing and green peas. Great dinner.

After this we went out to Gamestop and picked up both copies of City of Villains, we also happened to goto Gamecrazy so that I could sell off my XBox. Why did I sell my XBox? Simply put: I cannot afford XBox live. As much as I’d like to be able to afford it, I can’t. I owe Kurt a bundle of cash for previous expenses and things, and I need to start paying him back. We nearly ran into a problem at Gamecrazy because of the fact I don’t have a state ID card. As soon as I find out my schedual for next week (I should find it out later today.. (today because I’m writing this at 1:54 AM.)), I’m going to plan around my interview at EB, and the rest of the week. I’m not sure what I need for an ID, but I think I need my social security card, and another form of ID, and my birth certificate. As for what I’m doing right now, I’m staying up reading a novel I’ve started working on. I guess you could say I was inspired by the biography of Stephen King I’m actually watching at the current moment as I write. I really haven’t done much lately on it, but you can get to know me more than you already do by seeing my ‘artistic’ side.

I think that’s all for now everyone, but I’m interested to know what everyone thinks about my ‘novel’.

Today started out really slowly, I didn’t wake up until my dad came into my apartment and told me I needed to take out my trash after he dropped off some food for tonights dinner (Soup and Poppy-seed muffins- Yummy!). After that I mucked around for a while longer and finally got up off my butt and went out to EB and paid off both Mario Kart DS, and with the money in my pay check, bought Mario DDR Mix. If you don’t know what Mario DDR Mix is, imagine DDR with Mario. It even comes with a dance pad:

After that I happened to talk to one of the girls whos a friend of mine who works for EB, and the new manager over heard that I used to work for EB, and he said he was looking for people who used to work for EB, lo-and-behold I knew the new manager, so I talked to him for a while and he said if I fill out an application theres an 80% chance that I may have a new job for the season, however if it works out he’ll keep me longer. He’s really changing the look of the store too. Everyone has to dress cleanly and look sharp. Basically what I want in a job. Video games and a clean job. I’m filling out the application after I get done with the thirty minutes of MDDR.

I’ve made my mind up that I’m going to play MDDR for thirty minutes daily until I get my weight down to a desirable goal. The fun thing about it is, its Mario and DDR, with classic Nintendo tunes, and not to mention its free, aside from the one time buy cost of the game! How can I go wrong to lose weight this way?

After this Kurt and I are going over to Gamecrazy so I can reserve Electroplankton, and then who knows what the activities for the night will hold, because City of Villains doesn’t come out until tomorrow, Kurt and I will have to wait to pick it up then.
